Fort Lewis Honor Choir-
Congratulations to those chosen for this fun and enlightening event!
Thursday Nov. 12 students will leave from FHS at 7AM
Students will rehearse all day and give a free concert at 5:30pm at the Community Concert Hall on the Fort Lewis College Campus.
For more information click here.

Students need to bring their concert attire, music, water, pencil, and money for dinner.

Students are allowed to leave with parents who come to the concert-a signed voluntary transportation agreement is needed to take your student.

Dinner will be at Zia Taqueria on the way out of Durango.

Men's Choir Festival was a complete success at ENMU earlier this year. The Farmington Municipal School district took over 25 guys to sing with Dr. Jason Paulk for a day. We took a tour of Eastern New Mexico University in the morning, rehearsed and learned proper singing techniques before putting on a concert. CHOIR CAMP!!
We leave Sunday morning at 7AM. Please come packed and ready to drive, rehearse, and smile for a few days.
Remember Dr. Paulk reminded us to bring bedding and water bottles. Bring your choir shirt to wear one of the days, and a swimming suit if you're a swimmer.
All drivers can caravan to ENMU for registration and dorm assignments and stay for the first rehearsal if they'd like.

FHS Choir Spring Concert
San Juan College Little Theatre
Show starts at 7PM
Admission is by donation

Rehearsal begins at 4PM for all performers.
Students gather at the Little Theatre at San Juan College for rehearsal at 4pm. We will perform at 4pm-6pm. At that time students are welcome to go home to finish changing. However we will have pizza for dinner and get ready for the performance from 6pm-7pm.

Directions to San Juan College Little Theatre.
The Little Theatre is located north of the large Henderson Performing Arts Hall.
Drive around the campus in any direction until you see the clock tower. Drive towards the clock tower and park. Walk towards the clock tower and through/around the clock tower towards the middle of campus. Once behind the clock tower look for the building entitled Little Theatre. Go straight inside and you will find the theatre.

All FHS guitar students are expected to support the master class and concert on Thursday, February 19th.

FORT LEWIS HONOR CHOIR is the next big event.
Windsong will travel to Fort Lewis College on Thursday Nov. 13th to practice and perform with various other high school students from around the area.
A free concert is presented by this large group at 5:30 at the Community Concert Hall on the Fort Lewis College campus.

Congratulations to all the participants of the vocal solo and ensemble festival this past Monday, Oct. 6th. This event has proven to be a successful training event for the All-State auditions, and many students will feel the benefits when they enter the judging rooms.

FORT LEWIS HONOR CHOIR
High schools from around the area are invited to spend a day at Fort Lewis College rehearsing and preparing a concert with their choral director: Chairssa Chiaravalloti.  The day will culminate in a FREE concert open to the public. I urge parents to make an evening of it and support their students at
5:30 at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College.
