Hardship, Health and Safety Waivers
All hardship, health and safety waivers are to be turned into the Campus Programs office by the parent/guardian. The District Waiver Committee may require written proof, testimony, school verification, legal documents and other evidence of hardship, health or safety.
Parents/guardians wanting to appeal a denial of a waiver must present new evidence for an appeal hearing to be held. Parent/guardian making the appeal request must be present at the appeal hearing. This request must come within 10 days of the denial of the waiver. Appeal hearings will provide a decision within 5 school days following the hearing.
Emancipated students must provide all the appropriate documentation for waiver requests.
